WINDOWS

Whether it's your home or business property, timber windows can define the character of your building. Perfectly proportioned windows can add balance to any property and, with the right installation and maintenance, will last for years to come.

At Dengate Joinery, we produce windows that meet all the official building code standards and are crafted for longevity. From double hung windows to casement windows and more.

CASEMENT WINDOWS

Casement windows open to a full 90-degree angle, allowing airflow to circulate efficiently.

AWNING WINDOWS

These windows prevent water from entering when they're open while also allowing suitable airflow. They can also be controlled remotely.

DOUBLE HUNG WINDOWS

At Dengate Joinery, we make double hung windows the traditional way. Ring balances are used for standard production, although counterweighted box frames can be quoted for exact replications.

Double hung windows allow either sash to open, which means you can have airflow from the top and the bottom, as they open vertically. Opening the top sash means there's less chance of water entering if eaves are there. Since warm air rises, it allows venting of warm room air, as well as circulating air, meaning that warm air out exits through the top and cool air entersthrough the bottom sash.

Screens are fitted on the outside, and its vertical opening does not impede with outside walkways.
